About The Travel Adventure Team

The Travel Adventure Team is a Veteran and Woman-led full-service, award-winning premier Travel Agency headquartered in the Sandhills of North Carolina with branches around the United States.

Adventure means an exciting or unusual experience or participating in exciting undertakings. This can be many different things to many different people. That is why here, at The Travel Adventure Team, we call all vacations adventures. Because we believe that a vacation is an exciting undertaking and a break from the usual day in and day out routines!

We are a family-run company. You will have access to a support team that fully understands the travel industry and the products offered. Our independent contractors are like part of our family and we will always be there to help answer any questions or concerns you may have about the travel industry. 

We pride ourselves on the training we have available to our adventure guides. We work hard to help you become successful.

How do I get paid?

This is a commission based position. Commission will be based on your overall travel background and sales experience. We work off a commission scale, so the more traveled sales you have, the higher your commission! Commission is paid after your client travels and is paid to you on a monthly basis.

I don't have a strong sales background, but I have an extensive travel history. May I still apply?

Absolutely! While we love those that have a sales background, we can train you. Having a passion for travel and knowledge of travel is what matters most. We sell a variety of destinations and experiences and no matter what your background is, we welcome you to apply!

Is there a fee to work for your agency?

Yes, we do have a startup fee that covers industry-recognized training and start-up tools and services to help our agents achieve maximum results as they begin their journey. Monthly (or annually if you prefer) we charge a nominal fee that covers your agency email address, coverage on our Errors and Omissions insurance, use of our CLIA credentials, training materials provided by the agency, and so much more.
